I am a multi award winning family and wedding photographer, based in South West London.
My photography is about capturing the moment, finding the extraordinary in every shot, working hard and aiming to please - all whilst having a thoroughly good time.
So, let me tell you a little bit about myself, my work and what I can offer you.
My main role is that of a mother. I have two children, Ellie (13) and Johnny (5) - but years before Ellie came along, I trained in press photography at Sheffield College (the exclusive NCTJ course, under Paul Delmar, if anyone's interested!)
From there I worked for a couple of local newspapers and a national newspaper too. I photographed a lot of famous faces and events(Rik Mayall,Tara Palmer Tomkinson,Shelley Long, and the funeral of Ronnie Kray,to name a few)and worked with some inspirational people. But I soon realised that I had to grow up, settle down and get a ‘proper’ job.
When Ellie was around two or three years old, I bought a new camera (my first digital slr), and found my feet again. By the time Johnny was a toddler, I had started my photography business.
So, can you just imagine how thrilled I feel every day to be doing what I am doing now?
I absolutely love producing truly beautiful, emotive, timeless images for people. I feel honoured to be able to preserve such incredibly special memories. But don't get me wrong - I don't take myself too seriously! I will happily make a complete fool of myself to get a giggle from a grumpy toddler. I will lie in deer poo to get the best angle of a child running towards me. And I have cried at more weddings I have worked at than I have at It's a Wonderful Life (and that's saying something!)
I am also a registered member of the Guild of photographers and The Society of Wedding and Portrait photographers.
If I sound like your kind of photographer, then please do get in touch.
I can't wait to meet you and turn those fleeting moments of joy into visual mementos that you can all treasure forever.
